We would like to invite everyone to come to our Second Annual Vagina Open Mic Night in Lower Herrick on Friday, November 13th at 7 p.m. we hope this event will help to create a space in celebration of women here at Oxy. The open mic is open to ALL students and genders.
This is NOT the actual Vagina Monologue Show, which will be performed on February 19th. For this event, any student can come and watch or perform something they wrote, something someone else wrote, a dance, a song, anything!
All students interested in performing (female or male) should contact Rachel Deitch with the piece they would like to perform. Just email Rachel Deitch at rdeitch@oxy.edu. So come and celebrate women with the cast of the Vagina Monologues 2010! Admission is FREE but we will be selling refreshments and merchandise to those interested. We can’t wait to see you on the 13th in Lower Herrick! See you there!
