I am disappointed in Oxy’s ability to accomplish tasks while students are away from the school. Recently the residents of Wyllie got an email that the filters on our air conditioners need to be replaced and would be done during the upcoming week. With students gone for about a month I am wondering as to why this wasn’t done during that time?
Also I am quite upset with the way resources at oxy are being handled. Recently renovations have begun in Rangeview (our brand new building) to allow Residence Life and housing services to have office space. Residential rooms with plumbing are now being gutted and refurbished. I feel like this is a waste of Oxy’s time and money. Why was this not placed in the initial designs for the Rangeview building. In a school that seems to be strapped for resources for other projects directly affecting students sometimes you have to ask why?
