As Fall continues through midterms and you search for an outlet for stress, look no further than the long list of programs happening on campus and off campus this Fall.

The Offices of Student Life and Residence Life and Housing Services both have staffs dedicated to creating entertaining and substantial programs throughout the semester.

We have several programs planned this week, including movie nights in Rangeview and Norris halls on Sunday, Yoga in Lower Herrick, the Sex Olympics in Newcomb and a BBQ for middle campus.

If you would like to see additional programming on campus, Residential Advisors and Hall Coordinators are always looking for new and entertaining program ideas. Why not help them out? Just let them know what you are interested in and they may be able to help you find funding and a group of people.

Many things are happening off campus as well. In the local off-campus community many Oxy students are active in tutoring and/or alternative community service projects such as Gear Up. Programs like Gear Up offer students the chance to share their knowledge while tutoring at a local high school.

In addition to the local community, Residence Life is in the midst of planning alternative breaks for Winter and Spring, where students will get the chance to have a direct impact in national communities in distress such as New Orleans.

Stay tuned, many more exciting programs are yet to come. Enjoy your week!
