I have to say that I disagree completely with the proposed “themed housing” in Norris next year. While it’s nice to have people with similar interests around you, this themed housing completely goes against what Occidental and our liberal arts education stands for.
Why not continue to have a mixture of people, with different interests, who come from different backgrounds, live together so that they may learn from each other and have the diverse educational experience both inside and outside of the classroom that Oxy promises to all of its students. Keep Norris the way it is!
