To my fellow seniors: as we prepare to move out into the world as recent graduates, let us not forget Occidental College. Over the last four years Oxy has given us so much. Whether in the form of financial aid or scholarships, athletic opportunities, or an amazing professor, our experiences at Oxy have enriched our lives. What many of us may not know is that none of the programs would be possible without the generous support of former Tigers. As recent grads we join the ranks of distinguished Oxy alums and it is now our responsibility to give back.
Please give your Senior Class Gift today and help maintain Oxy’s tradition of excellence. You don’t even have to give any new money to Oxy, just designate a portion of your Freshman Enrollment Deposit. You can make your gift anywhere on campus: your favorite club, your major department, or athletics.
Giving also enhances the value of our degree as we venture out into the real world. US News and World Report ranks colleges based on alumni participation. The more alumni give back to Oxy, the higher the ranking, and the more valuable our degree becomes. Thank you to those seniors who have already given. Together we have raised over $19,000 for Oxy!
