On Friday, April 24, the Occidental Intercultural Community Center, ASOC, Programming Board, KOXY, Remsen Bird and the Office of the Dean presented “The Art of Rhyming,” a hip-hop concert featuring People Under the Stairs, Blu, Dead Prez, and Guru.
The concert was preceded by a free Barbecue, and a lunchtime panel with People Under the Stairs and Blu.
The concert began with a set by Blu, who was followed by local artists People Under the Stairs. Jazz/hip-hop fusion artist Guru was announced as a special guest, and the concert was wrapped up by Dead Prez.
