Bailey Stevens (first year) had an impressive day at the plate this weekend during the Tigers’ doubleheader against Pomona-Pitzer. Stevens was responsible for 3 RBIs and a home run in the first game and added two more hits in the second.

“I feel that last week’s games were amazing!” Stevens said via email. “We have really worked hard over the season, especially last week, and it finally clicked. We were playing as a team, getting timely hits and playing strong defensive. With me, I felt like I was seeing the ball the best I have all season. I was confident when approaching the play and really focusing on the job that needed to get done.”

Scott Ericksen
AOW_JeremyBloomScott Ericksen (senior) led the Tigers to victory against LaVerne this past weekend. He pitched eight innings and struck out seven batters, solidifying his sixth win this season.

“The baseball season is a long one, and I have had varied success so far,” Ericksen said via email. “I have battled through some injuries, and I believe that I am finally getting the chance to prove myself down the long stretch. I have just continued working every day to get better, and I have trusted that process so I am glad to say I am proud of how my hard work is paying off.”
