Again this Winter Break, Oxy students in the Rebirth Club will be traveling to New Orleans from December 27 to January 15 to participate in the 2-unit Disaster Politics course offered through the Politics Department.
This year students will be living and working in the Lower Ninth Ward on various rebuilding and sustainability projects, along with course discussion and work throughout the 3-week trip. I encourage all students to consider attending this trip, as it is a worthwhile and tangible experience involving many issues that plague American society.
This Thursday, October 14th, at 8:00 PM in Johnson 101, Rebirth Club will host an informational session for the class and trip at large.
