The students registered in Occidental PHAC149 karate class under the tutelage of Soke Kubota and Shihan Dai Victor Chico participated in the 47th Kubota’s Annual All Star Karate Championship in the Rush Gymnasium on October 2nd. More recently, students participated in the Te-Kenjutsu-Kan Karate-Do 9th Annual ADLAWAN – CUP Food Drive Karate Tournament benefiting the women shelter WisePlace in Santa Ana. Competitors applied their knowledge they gained from the class on the floor of the competition and did exceptionally well.
