North Korea. Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un published 375 new slogans on behalf of the Workers’ Party of Korea in the state-run newspaper Rodong Sinmun. The Workers’ Party will likely adopt the slogans at a meeting in May. The slogans urge North Koreans to work hard and “make hurrah” for the Communist party. Other slogans encourage citizens to “make the whole country seethe with a high-pitched campaign for producing greenhouse vegetables” and to “thoroughly implement our Party’s policy of putting all the people under arms and turning the whole country into a fortress.”

Spain. Two brothers in Spain were arrested for allegedly selling fake artwork by artists such as Mark Rothko, Robert Motherwell and Jackson Pollock, making over $70 million through the now defunct Knoedler Gallery. U.S. prosecutors are requesting to try the brothers in New York City — the scene of their crimes — so as to easily access witnesses and victims. Businessman Jesús Ángel Bergantiños Díaz was ordered to be extradited to New York Feb. 16. His brother, José Carlos Bergantiños Díaz, still awaits a decision on U.S. extradition requests.
