As I was driving out of the Rangeview parking garage on Saturday, I was thinking about how easily an accident could happen going around that sharp turn down the ramp to Level B. As this thought struck me, so did a car coming around said corner. We hit head on, neither of us seeing each other until the last possible second. Luckily, we escaped the incident with only some dents and scratches. The whole accident could have easily been avoided, however, with the installation of a mirror. It would be that simple; just a mirror to see around that horrible corner, the one that residents have been complaining about since day one. I doubt I’m the first to have an accident in that garage for that very reason, and if either of us had been going any faster, things could have been much worse. Let’s all urge Res Life to get on this issue before more accidents happen.
